Look What Mommy Made!

Last summer, I was in a children's boutique and saw some very cute bow holders that were outrageously expensive. After taking a closer look at them, I realized...I can make that! I made this adorable bow holder for Maggie and it finally hanging in her room. The best part...it cost less than $5 to make.

Maggie Goes to The Children's Museum

Well, it's been too long readers. School has started back, so things have been slightly busy for us around here. Now that we're back into the swing of things hopefully, I can keep up with our blogging a little better.

A few weeks ago, Maggie and I headed to the new Children's Museum with a group of friends. We had a wonderful time and there was plenty of things for Maggie to do. First we headed downstairs to make a craft....

The craft was super-neat and perfect for Maggie's age. It was equal parts shaving cream and glue mixed with food coloring. When the mixture dries, its puffy. I'm so proud of my little artist!

Next, we headed over to the toddler water tables. Seriously, Maggie and the rest of her friends could have stayed here all day. They loved it! They all cried when we took them away. We then headed to the Cafe area to watch a ballet troup perform excerpts from The Nutcracker and drink some hot chocolate.

After the ballet performance, we headed upstairs to the farm area, which again all the kids loved and was perfect for Maggie's age.

Right outside of the farm area, they had a gigantic light-bright. It was great! Overall, we had a fantastic time and it was a great place for a playdate. I was worried that there wouldn't be anything there for Maggie's age but there was plenty for her and her friends to do and they had a great time!
